Episode Summary
Sometimes life holds two realities at once. There can be joy in one part of our story and deep pain in another. We can trust God and still grieve, experience His goodness while circumstances remain difficult, and know He is near even when He feels far away.
In this roundtable conversation, we’re joined by our friend Monica as we share stories from seasons of loss, cancer, unexpected change, unanswered prayers, and circumstances we couldn’t fix. Together, we reflect on the people God sent, the ways He provided, and the moments we could recognize His faithfulness, sometimes only after looking back.
We also talk about what it means to offer others a “ministry of presence,” why Jesus weeping with Mary and Martha matters, and how suffering can deepen our trust in God’s character.
Wholeness doesn’t mean every broken part of life has already been repaired. Sometimes it means discovering that even while life still feels fractured, Jesus is present in the middle of it, and we are not walking through it alone.

Life may still feel fractured. Our circumstances may not change, our hearts may still ache, and we may not understand what God is doing. But we are not walking through any of it alone. God is present, He is faithful, and He is still restoring us, even here.
